Manolo Blahnik and the Wallace Collection have come together to open an exhibit on June 10, 2019 to feature a collection of archived shoe designs from the esteemed designers along other museum pieces.
Manolo Blahnik, who is a art and culture fan, is fond of the Wallace Collection and has used it as a source of inspiration for his ever-popular work. Each room at the Museum shows a particular theme from his work, from the theatre and spectacle of the Commedia dell’arte to 18th-century Rococo style.
The exhibit, titled ‘An Enquiring Mind: Manolo Blahnik at The Wallace Collection’ has been co-curated by Blahnik and aims to show “an unprecedented exploration” of the footwear designer’s creative process.
